In a fast-paced, attacking affair featuring five tries each, it was Lake Macquarie’s accuracy off the tee that proved decisive. Warnervale were left to rue five missed conversions, while the Roos took their chances to secure a vital win. The result cements Lake Macquarie’s spot in third, while Warnervale now face a tough run home with crucial fixtures against Avoca Beach and Gosford/Kariong looming.
Woy Woy 27 def. by Terrigal 42
Venue: Woy Woy Oval
Woy Woy pushed the undefeated Trojans for much of this contest, but Terrigal’s experience and structure shone through in the second half. The Lions showed continued improvement in their inaugural Premier 1 campaign and challenged Terrigal in all areas. However, the visitors finished stronger to extend their unbeaten run in 2025.
Gosford/Kariong 10 def. by Razorbacks 97
Venue: Gosford Rugby Field
The Razorbacks were utterly dominant in a one-sided contest, piling on 97 points with relentless pace and pressure. Nicholas Elwin and Alifereti Joji were standouts for the visitors, who showed finals-quality form from start to finish. Gosford/Kariong battled on bravely but were simply outclassed on the day.
Northlakes/The Bay 5 def. by Avoca Beach 24
Venue: Buff Point
Despite the scoreline, this was a tough and even encounter, with both teams battling hard across the field. Avoca Beach will be slightly disappointed not to come away with a bonus point, but will be satisfied with a hard-earned win that sees them climb into fourth on the ladder. Northlakes/The Bay showed their trademark resilience and remain one of the competition’s most competitive units.

Avoca Beach were ruthless in a commanding performance that saw them run in try after try. The Sharks overwhelmed Northlakes/The Bay with their speed, accuracy, and support play, making the most of every opportunity. The home side managed a consolation try late, but the gulf in execution was evident throughout.
Lake Macquarie 33 def. Warnervale 24
Venue: Walters Park
In one of the more evenly matched contests of the round, Lake Macquarie edged past Warnervale in a high-scoring affair. The Roos capitalised on key attacking moments, while their defensive resilience in the closing stages denied a Warnervale comeback. A great win for Lake Macquarie, who are building nicely as the finals approach.
Gosford/Kariong 7 def. by Razorbacks 55

The Razorbacks produced a clinical and structured performance to comfortably dispatch Gosford/Kariong. The visitors were strong at the set piece and dangerous in open play, racking up a comprehensive victory. Gosford/Kariong crossed for a solitary try but were outclassed across the park.

Woy Woy showed plenty of fight but couldn’t contain a fast-finishing Terrigal side. The Trojans pulled away late in the second half after a tightly contested opening period. The Lions can take positives from their attacking combinations, but Terrigal’s ability to find points in clutch moments proved the difference.

Venue: Buff Point
Avoca Beach put on an absolute clinic in a record-breaking performance. With tries shared across the park and relentless pressure from the opening whistle, the visitors racked up 104 points in a dominant display. Northlakes/The Bay crossed twice but were overwhelmed by the pace and precision of a side still undefeated and surging toward the finals.
Gosford/Kariong 12 def. by Razorbacks 50

The Razorbacks kept their season alive with a strong showing against Gosford/Kariong. While the home side showed improvement and found their way to the try line twice, Razorbacks had too much firepower and ran in eight tries. The win gives the visitors a crucial boost heading into the back end of the season.

Don’t let the final score fool you, this was a tight contest in the first half. Woy Woy went try-for-try early and made Terrigal work hard for every metre. But the Trojans found another gear in the second half, with their outside backs proving too slick. Terrigal’s depth and structure saw them finish strongly for another bonus-point win.

Lake Macquarie continued their strong run with a composed and clinical 22-5 victory. The home side dominated territory and possession, with their forward pack laying the platform. Warnervale showed grit in defence but struggled to match the Roos’ consistency over the full match. A confident win that keeps Lake Macquarie firmly in the top four.

A thrilling contest saw Warnervale sneak home with a two-point win in a match that went down to the wire. Lake Macquarie were brave and physical throughout, but the Wildcats held firm in the final stages. It was a tough, gritty performance from both sides, with Warnervale doing just enough to keep their top-two position intact.

Terrigal were tested early by a determined Woy Woy outfit but eventually found their rhythm to pull away for a comfortable win. The Trojans’ set piece laid a solid platform, and they showed their class in the second half. Woy Woy’s effort was again commendable, particularly in defence, but they struggled to convert pressure into points.

In one of the matches of the round, Razorbacks edged out Gosford/Kariong by just three points. Both sides traded blows throughout, with neither able to break clear. Gosford/Kariong showed plenty of fight in front of their home crowd but couldn’t quite reel in the visitors, who remain right in the mix for a finals berth.

Avoca Beach flexed their premiership credentials with a commanding performance at Buff Point. They controlled possession, scored freely, and defended with discipline. Northlakes/The Bay were brave and grabbed a deserved try, but the class of the Sharks was too much over the full 60 minutes.
